Foxhall Resort Wedding: Rick+Anna Photography
This morning we’re sharing photos from a recent project that is near and dear to our hearts! If you know us, you know that we absolutely love being involved in the local artistic community and in creating meaningful relationships with other wedding vendors and photographers in our area… We tend to spend too much of our time these days communicating with people from behind a computer screen via social media, and even though Rick and I get to work together everyday, sometimes the entrepreneur life can be lonely – so building connections is super important to us! For the past 6 months, we’ve wanted to make this project happen, and it’s been so fun seeing the vision come to life recently! We were able to work with an amazing Atlanta event designer (also a fellow husband/wife team!) to put together and host a huge styled shoot for our local photography community, and 25 of our photographer friends joined us for a day of shooting beautiful details and networking. We’re going to share a ton of fun behind the scenes photos from the day tomorrow, but in the meantime we wanted to share some of our favorite images from the shoot.
Here’s the vision for the shoot, perfectly curated by Melissa+Adam of eMBee event design:
“Imagine that a ‘thirstysomething,’ professional couple decides to host a luxurious destination wedding for 30 of their closest friends and family. The guests arrive on a Friday evening and are greeted by personalized baskets in their resort villas. Immediately, they notice that the bride and groom have thought of everything, pouring their creativity into special touches that reflect the feeling of their romance: passionate but relaxed, timeless but oh-so-modern, incredibly elegant but undeniably wild. The wedding they host on Saturday evening, just as the sun is about to set, is perfectly sophisticated, but also non-traditional. There are touches that honor the classic wedding ideals, but this couple pushes the envelope beyond the ‘airy’ theme often associated with weddings. The style and the palette are rich, deep, detailed, and structured.”
Thank you so much to the awesome creative team who created the vision for this shoot and made it happen for us!
